Found Wynonna Earp by accident on Crave, loved it. Its meaning has changed over the years, as it has moved less from a zombie shoot-em-up to more of a "Friends With Revenants" vibe, but Doc-Wynonna relationship resonates a ton. #WayHaught too perfect, argue with each other already! Also, more BoBo/Rosita!

I was a year behind the release and I tried watching the pilot based on Entertainment Expo. I was immediately hooked on the wonderful and flawed characters. The clever writing and the layered plot kept me on the line. As I joined social media I began to understand how important the LGBTQ+ voice was to other fans. The love stories that I took for granted as being available, believable and treated equally across all types of love were not there. This show, which I felt was just treating all people and people, was a groundbreaking voice to many. I love it more for that and for opening my eyes up to my own privilege.

I found Wynonna Earp during Covid, when the world was feeling very isolated. I was going through denial about my authentic self and really struggling with knowing what my future holds. I found some WayHaught content and I was shocked the story didn't revolve around their struggles as an LGBTQ couple, they just were. Watching Dom's story of self-discovery has been an inspiration to me and their bravery and strength will forever be in my heart, encouraging me to be the best, most honestly authentic person I can be and I will be eternally grateful. Since finding this show I've found my family, one who is always there, always supporting and accepting and I've had the courage to keep striving to meet myself, and love everything they are.

I'm a teenager, which means I'm filled with so many different emotions surrounding who I am, what I'm going to do and so much more. Wynonna Earp has meant more to me than anyone I know could understand, not just community that comes with the show, but helping me realize that being an outsider is okay. I discovered Wynonna Earp in 2018, and ever since it has got me through some tough times, including after my dad passed away. Whenever I'm anxious, stressed, angry, or just sad, I watch Wynonna Earp as a small escape. It's a moment where every single negative feeling I've ever had is just gone. Choosing just one character as a favourite is literally impossible because every single relationship dynamic on that show is incredibly special to me.
